Summer Homestay Program

Venamicasa organizes every year the Summer Homestay Program which features a lot of cultural activities that give you an insight into our invigorating Spanish way of life. Cultural Activities, Spanish at home, Spanish Cookery, Guided tours, Fun, Leisure and Culture. Every week, from Monday to Sunday, the Venamicasa team will accompany you to explore this beautiful land organizing a lot of cultural activities to make your stay in Valencia an unforgettable experience.

Available by weeks: from August 6th. to September 9th.

WHAT SUMMER HOMESTAY PROGRAM INCLUDES:

• Homestay accommodation with half board included in Valencia City Center:

  1. Daily full breakfast and dinner. 
  2. Spanish meals, typical dishes and Tapas
  3. Clean linen and towels
  4. Once a week the room is cleaned and the laundry washed. 
  5. Free use of the fridge and microwave. 
  6. Internet.
  7. Excellent connections by public transport to everywhere.

•  Spanish at home: private tuition all levels.

•  Club de Amigos (Friend’s Club):  Let’s talk in Spanish!,  meet new Spanish friends, the most beautiful beaches are nearby to your Host Home, music and dance, art, literature, history,  Flamenco, sightseeing tours accompanied by our Venamicasa team, a full range of cultural and social activities.

•  Spanish Cookery: learn how to cook the most delicious Spanish Dishes & Tapas.

•  Inmersion in our Fiestas: we’re going to live the most popular Festivals:

                ** La Tomatina de Bunyol (Tomato’s Festival).

                             Every last Wednesday of August.

               ** The Feast of Algemesi. The Festivity of “Mare de Déu de la Salut”.

Declarated Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. September 7th and 8th.

• Cultural Activities: Valencia: Old City (2000 years), City Arts and Sciences, The Cathedral, La Lonja (World Heritage), The Bullring, Town Hall, Lladro Porcelain Museum and factory, the main museums of the City and many others.
  

• Guided tours to:

                          ** Barcelona (homestay HB city center)

                          ** Xativa (Valencia) Monumental City. Summer Festival and Bullfights.

                ** Sagunto (Valencia). History and cultures of the Iberian Peninsula         reflected in its castles.
